Haha, ah, I see... Ten thousand things is sure a lot of things to know.

[Rudy is the master of being incredibly astute. Someone should give him a medal. Granted, he is kind of nervous of the guy too, which doesn't help matters. Welp.]

[Keep smiling. Don't let this get any more awkward. ... Best to just be upfront and honest about it. Trying to lead him in circles is getting them nowhere.]

Um... I guess I might as well get to the point. I-- I heard you were a spirit and, um, that kind of raised a few questions in my mind. [There's a steady inhale, his gaze falling to the ground as he sticks his hands in his coat pockets.] If you're not busy, I mean. I, um, know one, and I... sort of knew another before, see. [That's putting it rather lightly, though.] So, I was kind of curious. I don't mean to waste your time...

[Wan Shi Tong lowers his head to be more on the same level with Rudy. Here. Have an eyeball that's as big as your head staring back at you.]

[Welp. That's not intimidating.

Still, Rudy will steel himself and his tone, mustering up the courage to face the owl in the eyes... eyeball. Same thing.]

Well. It might sound strange, but... with you being a knowledge spirit, I kind of wanted to ask you how you personally defined "knowledge." Knowledge, and how it should be handled. If that's okay to ask?

[Rudy's attention briefly falls to his left arm - the Guardian Blade reforged, fueled by the power of the Life and particularly the Evil Guardian, who had his own views on the use of knowledge from what he's read so far. And just as quickly, he returns to face the owl's (rather intimidating) glare, trying to steel himself as best as possible.]

I believe you're the first to ever ask me this. At least not in a defensive context.

Knowledge by its definition is information, understanding, or a skill that you get from experience or education. And I believe it should be handled in a fashion that betters one's self.

... Really? [In all honesty, Rudy is a bit surprised. But at the same time, after what happened? He isn't surprised some people would be defensive about it, considering the owl did basically take over without warning. But maybe after hearing his side of things, things might become a bit more clearer.]

I see. [There's a small, nostalgic smile.] ... That sounds like something my Grandfather would say, really. Especially when it comes to bettering yourself in a good way. And of course, the people you care about too...

[His grandfather had strong opinions about it, that's for sure. Particularly when it came to power, and knowing how and why it should be used. But he won't go there yet.]

Kind of had me thinking there, since, well... you're the only other spirit I've heard of that resides over it. Though that also has me wondering: what would you say are good ways of using it to better one's self? [A brief pause, as his expression subtly shifts to something more serious.] I mean, it's entirely possible it can be misused too.

In my world I made my collection of knowledge available to humanity so that they could better themselves. They were uncivilized and violent, and I had hoped that they would change once they educated themselves.

But it would seem, according to my reactions when I first arrived, this was not the case. That my knowledge was indeed misused.

[His memories of hating humans were erased, but Wan Shi Tong has been building it up again since he came back after his death.]
