Greetings citizens of Luceti, I am Wan Shi Tong, he who knows ten thousand things.

In my world I am the spirit of knowledge and I have my own library for the betterment of mankind. As such, I believe my services here would be most valuable to you. 

However, it would seem that for some reason I am unable to enter your library. I would appreciate an explanation or perhaps some assistance in this matter.

Do they? I have not had much experience with humans. [The humans she's had interaction with in Luceti and her home world have been accepting, but that was not the first time she heard that about them.] I have not seen this fear in humans myself, but I have heard many speak of this trait.

It is a collection of knowledge. Usually in the form of literature such as books.

I understand. I have no interest in books. I am unable to read. [She doesn't seemed to fussed about it. She pulls her Luceti journal out of her back pocket. Wan Shi Tong may not be too pleased to see that not only has it been rolled up and bent to better fit in her pocket, but it is also very dirty and very soggy. The pages smashed together and crumpled up with her name fading away from misuse.] Unless they can speak as this book does.

[She folds the book up and crams it none too gently back into her pocket.] A human once tried his hand at teaching this one the letters of humans. I admit that I was not a very good learner. [As she easily grew bored. Learning to speak human had seemed enough as most of the limited amount of humans she choose to interact with back home were unable to read and write as well.] I have never attempted to learn the language of a spirit before.

I am the Spirit of Knowledge, so I am well versed in all languages native to my world. Though it hardly seems to make a difference here.
