Chapter Two - And the Owl Came Back~ [Video/Action]

 [The video feed will come on with a figure that most everyone in Luceti is probably familiar with by now. The large owl towering over the journal and an overcast sky above him as it rains lightly.]

Greetings citizens of Luceti, I am Wan Shi Tong, he who knows ten thousand things.

[Sound familiar?]

In my world I am the spirit of knowledge and I have my own library for the betterment of mankind. As such, I believe my services here would be most valuable to you. 

However, it would seem that for some reason I am unable to enter your library. I would appreciate an explanation or perhaps some assistance in this matter. 

[The feed will then cut off. And in the mean time, the owl will be sitting outside the library. In the rain. He's getting wet out here.]

Hmm. This village's relationship with spirits is still something I need to learn.

I will need to learn that as well. Though I have discovered that Luceti has it's own spirits.

Oh? I'll have to learn more about them, then. Nothing quite like Mushi...

[Which reminds him!]

Have you heard of mushi?

I have not. What is Mushi?

They're a form of life common in the world I was pulled from. I studied and worked with them and people with them.

Once you have a library set up, I can contribute at least a few stories for you.

My name is Ginko. Might I know yours, as well?

I am Wan Shi Tong, he who knows ten thousand things.

[That name puts him at ease - foreign, but only a bit compared to a lot of the very western presence this village is dominated by. Mainland Asian is a much more familiar tone.]

I hope I'll be able to read or hear some of your stories as well, Wan Shi Tong. For now, I'll go grab a map of this place. We can find somewhere dryer to read it out of the rain, then.

[It shouldn't take too long, right? The maps section probably isn't too hidden, and there's bound to be a copy of the Luceti map. He'll come back, the map carefully rolled up and in a cloth bag. He'll take up his umbrella again.]

Alright. Let's find a building better suited to your size for now, at least.

[Some of these buildings are pretty large! Surely there's some space they can hunker down into.]

[And Wan Shi Tong waits. He will be in the exact same spot when Ginko returns. The spirit then follows him through the village. His long wings dragging along the wet street like a cape.]
